In all my painting lesson videos I try to teach specific information about different aspects of painting. So much so that you might think I’m all work and no play, so in this video I simply wanted to show you what fun I have painting sometimes, when I’m not teaching anything, not painting a commission or trying oh so hard to come up with a good painting. This video is just me enjoying doing a little painting with a simple subject. I hadn’t painted for about a week when I did this so I felt the need to just splat some paint on and have a good time.
It turned out only taking 37 minutes from go to whoa, so what I’ve done is left the entire recording as it was with no cuts at all so you can see it happening in real time (if you have 37 minutes on your hands). For those of you who would rather see it compressed down to a minute I’ve included that at the start of the video for you too. Hopefully this will inspire you to throw caution to the wind and have a good time doing a quick little painting. Enjoy!
