		<description>Thanks so much for the nice comments, everyone. For those of you who asked about some tips for beginners, I think you just have to jump in and go for it. Set aside a good block of time (a few hours, if possible) and start with something small and simple. Find something around the house to paint (a potted plant, etc.) or a simple photo you like and just paint a 6&quot; x 8&quot; or 8&quot; x 10&quot;. This will give you a chance to focus on big shapes and matching colors and you won&#039;t have to worry about filling up a large canvas. Hopefully that helps! -Dan Schultz</description>

		<description>I like this artist&#039;s demo&#039;s alot as far as seeing the progression of a painting. The zoom-ins are great for seeing brushstokes. As a beginner, I love hearing about the palette used also. It would be helpful, though to know what colors were mixed to achieve each color, if possible. Thanks for the info.</description>
