Rotring is my favorite brand of pens but the Rapidograph is too much for me. I prefer the standard Rotring Art Pen with the calligraphy nub on the end. You should give that a try, it is very reasonably priced and it is one great pen!

I've heard some great things from professional artists about the Rotring Rapidograph pen as it's great for inking, I use the super cheapo gel ink pens which sometimes clog, so I may upgrade to this one based on your recommendation.

Cheers now.

I do buy the Strathmore sketchpads from Amazon and they are of great quality, especially for pen and ink work.
