I lovely abstract that I immediately connected with because of it`s musical theme and for me your use of colours is perfect. The eye roams freely around this painting and nothing shouts too loudly! Subtle...................very very nice!!

I love this painting. The cubic effect is wonderful. It is something that I have wanted to delve into and you have given me renewed hope. I am a bit of surrealist myself (although I am a total amateur) and I have so enjoyed the poetry that "Autumn Rhythm" sings out. I can almost see and hear the music of the autumn leaves, as they hang fleetingly to the branches, singing forth their song of abandon. Just before they fall reluctantly to the ground or are blown turbulently about the atmosphere. Thank you for bringing out the poet in me. I loved your website. Please consider doing an instruction on how to accomplish your overlapping effects.~Blessings, Soroya

Hi Jeff,

I can hear the music!!!!! Very well done! I always tell my students that we as artists want to create paintings to keep the viewers looking within those paintings as long as we can. You have done this with Autumn Rhythm. The rhythm is obvious within this painting and you have taken us on the journey of exploring within its boundaries.

There is only one little "nit picky" comment I want to make and that is concerning the right third of the painting. As I squint and look at this section, there is a curved line supported by two straight lines underneath that take my eyes out of your painting at the upper right corner. If this direction would be reversed, it would take us back into the painting. Just a thought.

Nice work! Happy painting and thank you for sharing with us!

Jeff, I can honestly say this is one of the first abstracts I truly like. maybe because i play guitar, and paint. But mostly because you have done such a fine job of it. I keep wanting to look at it to see if I've missed anything. I too wonder what size is it.

Not an abstract person but I could tell they were instruments which is a plus in my book. Colors are good. Don't suppose this is that heavy metal music ?
